Alex directed his first opera after working as Assistant Director on La Traviata (Royal Opera House) and Orpheus In the Underworld (Buxton Opera House & Salisbury Playhouse). Joshua Kaye's debut work is set in the world of the NHS, and follows the fate of a junior doctor after a patient dies on his operating table. The piece was performed by the graduating singers of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
