Lawrie used to be afraid of theatre- now he’s doing a one man show! Join him and find out how it goes in this hilarious, multimedia play, devised and performed by acclaimed actor Lawrie Morris (‘Growing Up Downs’- BBC). With bespoke animation, a glittering set and a fabulous ballroom ‘mashup’ dance routine, Lawrie imagines achieving his goal of reaching the Strictly final, and dreams of how his life could change. Packed full of humour and warmth, ‘Strictly Lawrie’ shows how anyone can overcome adversity with passion, determination, and a whole lot of sequins.

 

''Strictly Lawrie' will have a sharing in September 2022 before a national tour in 2023. Created in collaboration with The Globe Theatre, it contains voiceover work from the voice of Strictly Come Dancing Alan Dedicoat.
